Missing Key Elements

I finally found a hobby that I was really enjoying only to find it start to be a hassle. See I started making fan videos, you know basically using clips from a tv show and placing them to music. This new found hobby has even had me considering the idea of video production as a college idea choice. However my fun has been dampered due to the fact of youtube's growingly strict copyright policy, which I get and all but come on! We're not making a profit or anything and if anything it's more like advertising. Do you know how many songs I've bought after viewing fan videos of my favorite shows ? Plenty!



I remember watching the Colbert Report and a guy (Lawrence Lessig) talking about Copyright laws and I think he was right. Remixing things builds on whats there which often leads to benifiting more parties in the sense.



Youtube recently started to mute copyrighted music, instead of removing entire video with the content. Which bothers me because yes, music and artists are owned by companies but Music is ment to be shared and spread around able to be enjoyed by all! Now there restricting it . I just think it's stupid for people to not use music if there not mmaking a profit off it. Artists want there music to be heard, why would you want that to stop? It just bother me.

A Good Start?

For someone who supposedly has so much spare time I really don't post much huh? I try to but I always start a post and never finnish hence my many unsubmitted draft posts. I can barely get through this one. So I think I've finally decided what to do after highschool. Since I did so poorly on my SAT's and I slacked off most of highschool I've been rather stuck to say the least. So I've decided why not try the place I was considering last year. It doesn't seem so bad plus I really need to get out there. It not to far from home but far enough that I can actually do some stuff . I mean why not? I'm afriad if I don't do this I'm never gonna get anywhere . I even have an idea what to go for even from there small choice options. Guess I'll just have to see.

Odd Instructions

Okay so people who make instruction manuals must really question our intellgence. Why do I say this you ask? Well I decided to use this little choclate fondue pot I got awhile back today, I got bored and was flipping through the instructions only to read this :

I don't think I've ever read an instruction manual that made me laugh so hard. I think that says it all.

Clean, Cut & to the ... Aw forget it.

Okay I always start a blog post and never finnish so I'm keeping this clean, cut and to the point. The SAT's are a crazy terrible idea and Oh my freaking gosh it snowed ! But only a little... But I don't care because I love the snow! We hardly got any last year. To bad it snowed on the 6th. I've always wanted it to snow on my birthday (which was the 2nd, I turned 18 by the way) I'll just have to wait til it happens. The snow just feels so magical. And I'm blabbering on, so much for clean, cut and to the point huh? Oh well.

Twisterious

For some who Obviously has to much spare time it sure has taken me awhile to post something.

So topic of the moment "Twitter" . So I came across Twitter after one of the sites I frequent mentioned something on there that sounded fun. I decided to jump in and do the same, and it's really been a blast! I'm writing rather vague as to add a slight mystery feel mostly because it more fun to not know plus I don't want anyone to . Ha even more confusing? So now things are getting interesting with the development of more people. With two definetly conflicting characters, this should definetly be fun. Since I'm stuck in the middle it should be crazy. Two opposites with a rather common interest. One's been around for awhile now while the other has appeared recently but seemed to have waited abit before doing anything. I really wasn't expexting one of them be honest, maybe eventually but not that soon. So who knows. I'm curious to if there new or possibley not so much. Hard to tell just yet, I'll have to see.

Either way it's super fun.
